Orbis welcomes the first additions to their new fleet

Here at Orbis we believe that careful, eco-friendly driving not only results in considerable fuel savings, but it can also significantly lower vehicle CO2 emissions. According to the Energy Saving Trust, “Efficient driving is a driving style that reduces fuel bills, cuts carbon emissions and lowers accident rates”

By early 2023, our entire UK fleet of 210 vehicles will have been replaced with lower emission alternatives, all fitted with a new Lightfoot system designed to specifically monitor, educate and encourage eco-friendly driving behaviour. We are very pleased to welcome the first 33 vehicles to the Orbis fleet, all designed to maximise efficiency whilst we deliver our Vacant Property services.

The new vehicles have been chosen for their low CO2 emissions and perform well within EU regulations and UK government standards. As part of our ongoing fleet management process, we are also trialling electric vehicles, where payloads and ranges allow.

With over 350 Orbis field operatives and a fleet of over 200 vehicles throughout the UK, we continue to focus on our driving style to support our commitments to further reduce fuel, lower CO2 emissions and achieve safe and responsible driving in the communities we operate within daily.
