Our Story

Orbis are a leading provider of vacant property and people protection, security and management services including lone worker protection. 

At Orbis we provide essential property and people protection services that secure your assets and provide peace of mind to your employees. Our service plays a significant role in reducing costs associated with vacant and damaged property and maintaining service continuity.

Since 1981, we have provided property, site and personal protection services to our clients and have grown to become a truly national business employing more than 600 people across the UK.

Our UK bases of 25 offices and depots means we can provide a 24/7 responsive, fully-resourced and local service with our fleet of more than over 200 vehicles. We are a nationwide company with a strong local focus, and a commitment to being no more than 1 hour away when you need us.

Hundreds of clients rely on our dedicated teams to meet their most pressing and challenging tasks. Our clients include large organisations who are responsible for the provision of hundreds of thousands of homes and thousands of acres of employment and development land, to smaller facilities managers and insolvency practitioners. 

We are also trusted to provide protection services, technology and monitoring to 60,000 of our clients’ lone working employees to give them peace of mind.

Assurance is provided to our clients as we commit to maintaining key industry accreditations and will always strive to go beyond these standards.
