Meeting Our Customers’ Needs

We have had a close collaboration with Midland Heart for the last decade. In this particular case, we were working with James Wyatt Drive, a housing estate managed by Midland Heart. Unfortunately, the residents of this estate have been experiencing growing discomfort and frustration due to a rise in these types of anti-social behaviour:

 

  • Fly-tipping
  • Drug abuse
  • Gangs of youth
  • Prostitution

Providing Real Solutions

Due to the rapid increase in such activities within the surrounding areas of the estate, it became crucial to adopt a comprehensive surveillance approach to reduce crime and appease residents. Our response –

 

  • We set up a Tetra Solar CCTV tower equipped with 4 stationary cameras, to keep an eye on the areas prone to issues, offering round-the-clock surveillance. This proactive measure was put in place to discourage any anti-social behaviour.
  • We placed several warning signs informing everyone that the area was under surveillance, as a method of deterrent.
  • We asked our client to write to all residents of the community and advise them to report to us if experienced any suspicious activities in the rarest situations.

Results that matter

This project is currently in progress; however, following the installation of our tower, there has been a significant improvement in security efficiency. With the ability to monitor all areas around the clock, we have also observed the following:

  • When the client initially approached us in June, 2023, they had been facing multiple issues such as fly-tipping, prostitution and other illegal activities almost daily, but since our installation no such instances have been reported.
  • The tenants informed our client that they felt reassured knowing that their safety and well-being were being looked after due to the continuous surveillance.
