RedAlert Companion
Legacy-compatible safety – protection from any device, anywhere
RedAlert Companion ensures even the most hard-to-reach or tech-limited remote staff remain protected and connected. Operated by any phone or landline, RedAlert Companion offers manual ARC-backed escalation via a pre-programmed speed-dial, removing the need for modern smartphone access.
- Users are not restricted by which phone type they possess. Any mobile or landline handset with speed dial functionality is compatible with our Companion service
- With an inbuilt phone book, it is easy to make and receive calls from the device, potentially replacing the need for a second mobile phone
- A dedicated Red Alert button, which when pressed, puts you in direct contact with our Orbis Alarm Receiving Centre team (ARC), allowing real-time situation awareness and response
Advanced Functionality
Non-Movement & Fall Detection
If a user becomes incapacitated, the service can automatically trigger an alert, which will be immediately detected by our Alarm Receiving Centre.
Amber Alert Functionality
Enable users to leave a message detailing their location and last activity through our alarm controllers. This information can be reviewed later if a RedAlert is triggered.
Amber Timer Functionality
A dedicated Red Alert button that, when pressed, connects you directly to our ARC. This ensures real-time situational awareness and immediate response.

Our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)
The ARC is our central control centre, with one mission: to safeguard people, sites, and properties across the UK through live monitoring of thousands of CCTV systems, alarms, and lone worker devices.
Each member of our ARC team is fully SIA trained to manage security incidents and coordinate rapid escalations to mobile response teams, on-site keyholders, and local police authorities when necessary.

- Our security systems deliver industry leading uptimes – giving you the confidence that your site is fully monitored
