Meet our leadership team

Ben Howard
Chief Executive Officer
Ben was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Orbis in 2021, having previously spent five years as Chief Operating Officer. Ben is responsible for the strategic direction of the Orbis group of companies and has overseen a transformation of the service delivery and technology enablement of the business as well as delivering extremely successful growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
Before joining Orbis, Ben has previously held senior leadership positions in both private equity backed and plc environments across of range of B2B service sectors, where he has a track record for delivering significant growth in shareholder value.
Ben has an Economics degree from the University of Sheffield, holds a Masters degree from the University of York and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

James Gay
Chief Commercial Officer
James is a seasoned investor and accomplished leader with nearly 30 years’ C-suite experience in companies specialising in services ranging from software to security.
In 2018 James was appointed Chief Executive of Veritas which after a period of significant growth was acquired by Orbis in 2022. Following the successful integration of Veritas into the Orbis Group, James took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer. He is now responsible for overseeing the groups market differentiation, service excellence, and identification and integration of new technologies which will drive how Orbis protects people and assets in the years to come.

Shaun Wilcock
Chief Technology Officer
Shaun brings 20 years of experience in leading technology businesses across both IT and security markets. He previously held positions including CTO at Teledata and Head of Technology at Reliance.
During his 8 years at Orbis, Shaun has been pivotal in driving innovation and operational efficiency, overseeing R&D in AI, IoT, and Solar Power CCTV Tower solutions, as well as spearheading Group IT function transformation projects. Additionally, Shaun has a proven track record in growing two BS5979 Cat II security monitoring businesses, while continuously applying operational discipline, enhancing product offerings, and optimising business processes through technology.

Alf Davis
Chief Financial Officer
Alf has provided strategic leadership to finance functions across a wide variety of B2B service sectors over the last 20 years and has successfully led the sale of businesses to both private equity and trade buyers in the staffing, legal, and travel and hospitality sectors. He has also led multiple large remediation and integration projects, including having spent time as VP for Integration in American Express Global Business Travel.
Alf’s focus has been on driving technology, process, and team transformations to align finance as a business enabler as opposed to a reporting function.
Alf qualified as an accountant in 1997 whilst working in business advisory for BDO.

Anna Kingan
Chief Operating Officer
Anna is an engineer at heart with a proven track record of leading product and multi-site field service delivery across a diverse range of industries globally. Since joining Orbis in 2023 to oversee business operations and processes, she has been dedicated to fostering growth by driving excellence in safe service delivery, and enhancing the customer experience across all operational touchpoints.
Before joining Orbis, Anna held senior leadership roles in several leading industrial services businesses, where she spearheaded operational and commercial improvements. She earned her BEng (Hons) degree in Product Design Engineering from the University of Glasgow in 2001.
